My two day trek by bicycle to Seattle to raise money and awareness for cancer reseach. After 264 kms, over 10,000 calories, 11 hrs of riding and one sore bum, I finally made it to Seattle.
Yes, I really finished.
The start line in Guildford.
Getting ready for the start. Lots of spandex.
I hope I put sunscreen on my bald spot.
I am in so much pain!!
Quick!, before all the tofu sandwiches are gone!
Not the most orderly parking lot.
Rick and Jake taking a break.
My luxurious digs. Free beer to boot!
Jakes lookin good.
Tent city in Mt. Vernon. I asked for water view, but no luck. At least it was blue.
Close quarters to say the least.
Have to have a bit of an artsy shot somewhere don't I?
Bit of an oxymoron don't you think?
Hope I remembered my passport.
Heading for the border, I'm sure the drivers were less than ethusiastic.
Damn! I always pick the slow line.
What is the purpose of your trip?
How do you know everyone with you?
Lunch break on the first day.
